I painted this for a metal band based on Puebla, México.
Here the initial sketch. Really rough. And yes, it´s inspired on the aztec calendar.
The first Idea the client gave to me. Looks scaring. I guess..
Rendering the skull. I thought the blue hue did´t make it so well, so I decided to make a change...
Much better! This is the final product sent to the client.
And the guys told me to make a few changes, not using the letters and small things. And here it is! tadaaaaaan!
